Every meal at Christmas Cottage Nursery is approached with our home from home ethos. Our wide variety of freshly cooked foods is supplemented with our home grown ingredients to create healthy and nutritious meals for everyone.

Children of all ages gather together at meals times to share their thoughts of the day, help their younger friends and siblings, or observe the older children helping. Meal times are relaxed and when appropriate children are encouraged to help prepare, serve and clear away, promoting their independence.

Children within Christmas Cottage Nursery experience and share positive attitudes towards food and drink from when they are breast/bottle feeding, through weaning and into their childhood when they begin to help making their own meals.
